Welcome to the re-designed Athletics in the News website. 2011 will have one significant change over previous years: Rather than deliver news and my analysis of events and people in the athletics world I will strive in the coming months to have at least one personal interview per week featured on this site; these interviews will be with movers and shakers of times present and past, USA-based and international athletes.For those of you who have kept up with my second site, Athletes in the News, you'll also have noticed a new look there. I designed that site to auto feed in news on the top-14 IAAF athletes per event, men and women, as well as feed in news from IAAF, USATF, European Athletics, German Athletics (DLV), Swedish Athletics (Friidrott), and results and videos from Runnerspace.com.
